To change the thickness of the scrollbars at the right/bottom of documents larger than the screen, adjust...
For the horizontal (bottom) scrollbar:
HKLM\System\GWE\cyHScr = 9 (DWORD decimal)
For the vertical (right) scrollbar:
HKLM\System\GWE\cxVScr = 9 (DWORD decimal)
The default thickness is 13. You can set the value to pretty much anything you like

讓連絡人不顯示 sim contact 的方法

當把 sim card 的 contact 覆製到 PPC 後, 在連絡人會見到重覆的資料!
現在教授一個新加 registry dword 的方法去隱藏 sim card contact.

打開注册表 ： HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone (註: ControlPanel 是中間無 space 那個)
新增 DWORD
键名 ShowSim
键值 DWORD:0 (10進制） （1 為顯示 sim 連絡人）

保存即可不用 soft reset（也许有些機種需要 soft reset）

提高系統顯示加速

打開：\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE底下「limit」的值（正常是61440）改大即可。我改到了92160，效果十分明顯。不建議再大了，不過我加大到（120000）以上也沒發現問題！！！膽小的改到（76800）也行！原理為加大系統顯卡的預讀內存，可以極好的優化效果

自動釋放系統資源，解決系統資源嚴重不足

在Windows-Mobile中，每運行一個程序，系統資源就會減少。有的程序會消耗大量的系統資源，即使把程序關閉，在內存中還是有一些沒用的DLL腳本程序文件在運行，這樣就使得系統的運行速度下降。不過我們可以通過修改註冊表鍵值的方法，使關閉程序後自動清除內存中沒用的DLL文件而及時收回消耗的系統資源！打開註冊表編輯器，找到：HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion主鍵，在下面建立一項鍵值，命名為：「explorer」，再到「explorer」底下新建一個名為「AlwaysUnloadDll」的字符串值，然後將「AlwaysUnloadDll」的鍵值寫為「1」，退出註冊表重啟即可。

LG KS20 upgrade rom

步驟一,下載

二,裝左WinDiag_open.cab先.(不裝不能在LGMDP_exe. connect phone)
三,install LG usb driver,之後要入部機打2676625720#去Eng.menu set(Port setting-Diag Setting-UsbSwitching-LG Composite,揀Dun,diag後soft reset.部機才入到USB mode.
四,LGMDP解壓後必用LGMDP_EURO(其他有問題)內的exe,跟住connect phone,(no phone,不能的重覆二),揀nv backup,先做 backup!!!
五,揀Download,可再做多次 backup或跳過,去select image揀番10b rom.nv後Start便可,約十五分鐘左右完成.
六,成功後會reset,全部會重新設定,去設定-系統-系統資訊-版本資訊內check下是否10b?
七,恭喜你成功upgrade了,重新裝過你用的program!

Change ringtone/vibrate/LED flash characteristics

If you would like more control over how your device rings/vibrates/flashes its LEDs on events, you can can change the Script values of these events. For example, for an incoming call performing 'activate device, play ringtone, wait 3 seconds, repeat':

HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0\Script = "apw3r" (REG_SZ string, no quotes)

For performing 'active device, set volume to 33%, play ringtone, set volume to 67%, play ringtone, set volume to 100%, play ringtone (no repeat)':

HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0\Script = "ac33pc67pc100p" (REG_SZ string, no quotes)

The following are the full codes available to you. Please note that all the codes are executed simultaneously except after a ringtone play / wait code. E.g. 'v1p' will vibrate and play at the same time, while vibrating for 1 second. But 'pv1' will play the ringtone through all the way first, then start vibrating for 1 second.

a = activate device
cN = set volume to N in percentage max volume
fN = flash notification LED for N seconds
p = play ringtone. Note that this will play the ringtone all the way through before continuing with the next code.
r = repeat. Note that this should be the last code in your Script string, if used at all.
vN = vibrate for N seconds
wN = wait for N seconds. Note that the device will wait this long before continuing with the next code.
